Where to collect the car in Warsaw

• Car & Go office, Wiejska 12/3

  Collecting the car at the office is free. You sign the contract there, we inspect the car together and hold the deposit on your card. Office hours are Mon–Sat 8:00–20:00.

• Chopin Airport

  We hand the car over at the airport for 80 PLN, so you can set off straight after landing. We agree the meeting point and time when you book.

• To an address of your choice

  We deliver the car to a home, hotel or office in Warsaw for 120 PLN. It helps when you cannot get to the office or the car should wait for a company guest at the hotel.

• Bemowo

  Bemowo has the S8 running through it and is close to the Konotopa junction with the A2 and S2. There is no paid parking zone. It is 20–25 minutes from Wiejska.

• Białołęka

  Białołęka is Warsaw's fastest-growing district, with no metro and no paid parking zone. It is 25–30 minutes from Wiejska, and we deliver to the new estates.

• Bielany

  Bielany has the S8, the Skłodowska-Curie bridge and the end of the M1 at Młociny, and street parking is still free. It is 20–25 minutes from Wiejska via Wisłostrada.

• Mokotów

  Mokotów is a quarter of an hour from Wiejska via Belwederska or Puławska. Collect the car from us or have it delivered to your office in Służewiec.

• Ochota

  Ochota is right next to the centre, 10–15 minutes from Wiejska via Trasa Łazienkowska. The whole district is in the paid parking zone, and the airport is close.

• Praga-Południe

  Saska Kępa, Grochów, Gocław and the National Stadium. It is 8–15 minutes from Wiejska over the Poniatowski bridge; part of the district is in the paid parking zone.

• Praga-Północ

  Praga-Północ is across the Vistula, 12–15 minutes from Wiejska. Old and New Praga are in the paid parking zone and the streets are narrow; we deliver to you.

• Rembertów

  Forests, the War Studies University and family homes in eastern Warsaw. Rembertów is 20–30 minutes from Wiejska, and we deliver to your address.

• Śródmieście

  Our office is at Wiejska 12/3 in Śródmieście, and collecting the car there is free. Every car has its own page with photos.

• Targówek

  Targówek has the M2 metro all the way to Bródno, Trasa Toruńska (S8) and no paid parking zone. It is 20–25 minutes from Wiejska via Most Gdański; we deliver.

• Ursus

  Ursus: fast-growing estates along Aleje Jerozolimskie, close to the S2 and A2, with no paid parking zone. 25–30 minutes from Wiejska; we deliver to your address.

• Ursynów

  Ursynów is close to the S79, the S2 and Chopin Airport, so it is the quickest way out of Warsaw. It is a 20–30 minute drive from our office on Wiejska.

• Wawer

  Wawer is Warsaw's largest district: forests, świdermajer villas and the S2 on the Anna Jagiellonka bridge. It is 20–35 minutes from Wiejska; we deliver to your door.

• Wesoła

  Wesoła has been part of Warsaw since 2002: homes among the trees, Trakt Brzeski and street names that repeat elsewhere in the city. 25–35 minutes from Wiejska.

• Wilanów

  Miasteczko Wilanów and the area around the palace: we deliver to your address. It is a 15–25 minute drive from Wiejska via Belwederska and Sobieskiego.

• Włochy

  Włochy is home to Chopin Airport and the S2, S7 and S79 junctions. Airport hand-over is a separate option in our price list. It is 15–20 minutes from Wiejska.

• Wola

  Rondo Daszyńskiego, Browary Warszawskie, Dworzec Zachodni. A quarter of an hour from Wiejska; we deliver to your address and invoice the company.

• Żoliborz

  Żoliborz is Warsaw's smallest district and entirely in the paid parking zone. It is 15–20 minutes from Wiejska via Wisłostrada, and we deliver to your address.

What to know about driving around Warsaw

Parking, roads, rules and a few curiosities that help anyone renting a car in Warsaw. Correct as of September 2026.

• Paid parking zone

  In Śródmieście and parts of Wola, Ochota, Mokotów, Żoliborz and Praga, parking is paid Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 20:00. Parking is free at weekends and on public holidays. The first hour costs PLN 4.50, the second PLN 5.40, the third PLN 6.40, and each further hour PLN 4.50 again. You can pay by card at the meter or in an app such as moBILET, SkyCash or AnyPark. Parking fees are paid by the renter.

• Clean Transport Zone

  All of Śródmieście and parts of the neighbouring districts form the Clean Transport Zone. Since 1 January 2026 a diesel may enter if it meets Euro 5 or was made in 2009 or later, and a petrol car if it meets Euro 3 or was made in 2000 or later. Entering in a car that does not qualify means a PLN 500 fine. The thresholds rise again in 2028. If you rent an older diesel and plan to drive in the centre, ask us when you book whether that car may enter the zone.

• Park and Ride by the metro

  Park and Ride car parks operate by the Młociny, Wawrzyszew, Marymont, Wilanowska, Ursynów and Stokłosy metro stations. With a valid 24-hour, weekend or longer public transport ticket, parking there is free. It is an easy way to leave the car and take the metro into the centre instead of hunting for a space in the paid zone.

• Speed limits

  The limit in built-up areas is 50 km/h day and night. The old 60 km/h night limit was scrapped on 1 June 2021. On dual-carriageway expressways the limit is 120 km/h and on motorways 140 km/h. With a trailer, the limit on expressways and motorways is 80 km/h.

• Poland's longest road tunnel

  The southern Warsaw bypass, the S2, runs under Ursynów through a 2,335 m tunnel. It opened on 20 December 2021 and is still the longest road tunnel in Poland. Each bore has three traffic lanes and an emergency lane, and average speed cameras enforce an 80 km/h limit.

• A2 to Łódź and Konin toll-free

  A passenger car can take the A2 motorway from Warsaw via Łódź all the way to Konin without paying tolls. Tolls start on the section from Konin to Poznań and further west, where you pay at the toll gates by card or cash.

• Chopin Airport

  Chopin Airport is about 10 km from the city centre and is the busiest airport in Poland. In 2025 it handled a record 24.1 million passengers. Warsaw's second airport, Modlin, is about 40 km north of the city.

• Maria Skłodowska-Curie Bridge

  The Northern Bridge, officially the Maria Skłodowska-Curie Bridge, is about 795 m long and links Bielany with Tarchomin. Cars have used it since 2012, and a tram line runs down its middle.
